In 1996 Bart started at Acunia (IMEC spinoff) as
the lead silicon designer where he created a companion chip to one of the first
available ARM microprocessors, became product manager and soon thereafter the
GM of the Hardware BU.

2004, Bart was hired by Intel capital to create Intel’s new in vehicle infotainment
(IVI) business which grew to a multi-Billion dollar business for Intel, created Intel's first autonomous vehicle architecture (L3) and became automotive BU CTO 

2020 Bart led Huawei's European Software Defined Vehicle architecure 

2021 Bart became Intel AXG MaaS and Edge HPC CTO
